Designed by architect César Portela, the facilities of the Mar de Vigo Auditorium and Conference Centre are set on an area of over 23.000 square metres. The buildings stand between the seaport and the shipyard of the so-called “olive city”, in a one-of-a-kind location with wonderful views of the estuary and its surroundings. The auditorium is the biggest hall in the complex as it seats up to 1,421 people. Also remarkable are the excellent acoustics and well thought-out design, which make this space a suitable venue for official events, mass conferences and concerts.
